Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve jyotirlinga temples in India. It is famous for its vibrant interiors and longest corridor. Lord Rama worshipped Ramanathaswamy (Shiva) in the form of Lingam before crossing the Rama Setu to reach Sri Lanka.
Visiting Hours: 5:00am to 1:00pm and 3:00pm to 9:00pm (Monday to Sunday)
Built in the honor of Lord Lakshmana, the brother of Lord Rama, Lakshmana Tirtham temple displays pure Dravidian architecture. The spiritual vibes inside the temple are magnificent and you can feel the serenity all around. Marble statues of Lord Lakshmana along with the sculptures of Lord Rama with wife Sita displays the eternal bond and respect of brothers towards each other.

Agni Teertham is one of the 64 sacred baths in India with religious and spiritual significance. Situated 13 km from Rameshwaram, in the southmost region of the island, the Kothandaramaswamy Temple is a shrine dedicated to Lord Rama. The temple is the only structure that survived 1964’s tragic cyclone that has washed away the entire town of Dhanushkodi. The temple houses the sculptures of Lord Rama, Lord Lakshmana, Mata Sita along with the idols of Hanuman and Vibhishana.
